The Confratellanza Italo-Canadese society has donated and continues to donate to multiple various charities throughout the lower mainland. Many of these charities are geared towards the younger generation, including but not limited to:
- Variety The Children’s Charity, yearly donations to Variety have continued for twenty plus years,
- Various high school special programs,
- West Coast Boys Club,
- Michael Cuccione foundation,
- Yearly scholarships to deserving high school students moving on to continued studies.
Other notable donations include:
- Yearly Christmas turkeys intended for those less fortunate that cannot afford a Christmas feast,
- Cultural programs at the Italian Cultural Centre,
- Various other charities geared towards health, such as cancer research, heart health, etc.
Donations of the Confratellanza over the years have amassed to multiple hundreds of thousands of dollars. The society is proud to help those less fortunate in any way we can.
